Council Meeting Info

City Council meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6 PM in the Conference Room at City Hall.

To be included on the agenda, please submit request by noon on the Wednesday before the meeting.

Ballot Box

Wallowa City Hall has a secure voting ballot box located outside the building on the front corner near the alley.  You can drive right up and drop in your ballot for an easy voting experience.  Don't forget to sign your envelope!

Rates

As of July 1, 2022:
Water/sewer bill total:  $78.00
Breakdown of rates
Water rates:  $36.50 per month for first 10,000 gallons ($0.50 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000)

Sewer rates:  $41.50 per month

As of July 1, 2023:
​Water/sewer bill total:  $81.00
​Breakdown of rates

Water rates:  $38.00 per month for first 10,000 gallons ($0.50 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000)

Sewer rates:  $43.00 per month

​Resolution No. 416-19 states that each rate will increase by $1.50 each July 1 annually for a total monthly increase of $3.00 to your water & sewer bill.

Billing is done the first week of the month with payment due upon receipt and remittance is due no later than the end of the month to avoid incurring late fees.

For easy payment drop off, we offer a drop box in the front door of City Hall and we also have a drive by drop box on the South side of the building (come through the alley).

Wallowa City Hall currently accepts personal checks, money orders, and cash as payment options.  

During freezing weather, please leave your faucets dripping.  There will be no overages charged for these times.
